Job Description: Universal Banker

Starting salary for the Universal Banker position is $18.50 an hour and up, depending on experience.

Position Overview: Under the supervision of an Assistant Manager or Community President, the Universal Banker assists customers in a dual role (Platform/60% Teller). The role focuses on delivering outstanding service with every interaction, performing teller transactions, servicing existing customers, and offering product and service solutions to current or prospective customers.

Responsibilities include:

1. Efficiently process customer transactions with integrity, accuracy, and knowledge.
2. Identify, expand, and deepen customer relationships by profiling customers and recommending suitable products and services.
3. Make referrals to other lines of business to meet customer needs.
4. Open, maintain, and close deposit accounts and services accurately.
5. Address customer questions and resolve account issues both in-person and via phone.
6. Perform onboarding calls and follow-ups with customers.
7. Engage in reactive sales and cross-selling activities, including calling on campaign lists and following up on referrals.
8. Maintain knowledge of WSB's systems, products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
9. Operate in full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience Required: 1-2 years of sales experience; 2-4 years of customer service experience.
• Preferred: 2-4 years of sales and customer service in branch banking.
• Education Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in business or related field.
• Certifications: Banker Certification within 6 months of hire/promotion.
