Job summary

Truist in Fallston, MD is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely and accurate client service, process transactions, and identify financial needs. You will be cross-trained to support sales and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years teller or client service experience, strong communication and PC skills, ability to multi-task, and flexibility for weekends and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling and courteous conversation, completing complex and standardized transactions as needed.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound calls, checking client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities for referral to branch team or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product and knowledge through trainings and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
