The Universal Banker serves as a single point of contact for customers, identifying needs, building relationships, and fulfilling sales, service, and referral needs. Responsibilities include cash handling, basic transactions, product and service sales, and referrals to other lines of business. Success requires product knowledge, relationship building, customer service, and referral skills. This position works closely with retail, operations, and lending staff.

• Promotes, represents, and welcomes customers and vendors professionally.
• Identifies customer needs and provides appropriate bank products and services.
• Executes banking transactions and supports retail activities.
• Maintains cash levels, balances drawers, vault, and ATM, and reports discrepancies.
• Handles account openings, closings, and related transactions.
• Establishes and maintains files and records for accounts and services.
• May manage, balance, and maintain the branch vault in small branches.
• Ensures operational efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Prepares reports and conducts audits as needed.
• Supports other branches as needed and participates in community events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
