Summary
Provides high-quality customer service by meeting the needs of customers in an efficient and friendly manner while servicing transactions, conducting needs assessments, and opening new accounts. The candidate must be enthusiastic about developing and maintaining customer relationships to achieve banking center and individual sales goals.

Specific Job Duties

• Act as the first point of contact for customers, serving their total financial service needs by recognizing opportunities and contributing to the success of the banking center.
• Handle a broad range of activities including transaction processing, new account sales, customer service, and referral generation.
• Support sales objectives by cross-selling bank products to expand and maintain customer relationships.
• Assist management with daily transactions, including approving transactions, preparing reports, and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations, maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Support credit functions by updating loan data, gathering documentation, and maintaining proper loan files.
• Respond to inquiries regarding loans and refer leads to specialists.
• Participate in sales, service, compliance, and product training.
• Represent the bank in community and civic engagements.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum two years of personal banking or teller experience emphasizing customer service
• Preferred two years of loan experience
• Basic knowledge of bank deposits, lending, and credit products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Relationship building, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Training in teller systems and new account procedures
