Job Description:

As a Unity Engineer at GigXR, you will be a key member of our team in developing immersive applications tailored for healthcare and educational training. The ideal candidate will bring extensive Unity expertise, a strong background in mixed reality technologies, and a proven track record of delivering successful software solutions across various devices and platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with the development team to solution, document, implement, and test new features and updates in C# and Unity.
• Collaborate with the QA team to diagnose and fix issues in our applications.
• Contribute technical insight to product and customer experience discussions.
• Ensure that functionality is implemented in alignment with company vision and customer needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in Unity development, with a history of completed projects.
• Proficiency in C# programming and Unity scripting.
• Solid understanding of mixed reality concepts and experience with AR/VR technologies.
• Previous experience working with new technologies in a constantly changing environment.
• Ability to optimize and support software for a range of devices and platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated humility and a collaborative mindset, with a willingness to assist teammates, ask questions, and openly receive help and feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the healthcare or educational technology industry.
