Job summary

University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a Finance System Specialist III to lead the Unity Construct system administration for MU Campus Unity Connect. The role involves system configuration, data field/template edits, and delivering effective training to internal and external users.

Collaboration with PeopleSoft programmers and vendor staff is essential to ensure smooth integration and operation. The position includes report development, data extraction, and adherence to MU and System

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
• At least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.
• Prefer Unity Construct (e-Builder) and/or PeopleSoft accounting experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State of Missouri driver's license or a valid out-of-state driver's license with the understanding a Missouri driver's license must be obtained within the first six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for MU Campus Unity Connect users and manage system configuration.
• Modify data fields and templates, and provide support and training to users.
• Collaborate with system Unity Construct teams, PeopleSoft programmers, and vendor staff to ensure smooth operation and integration of the Unity Construct system.
• Develop reports and data extractions while ensuring MU and System policy adherence.
• Deliver training and maintain training materials for MU processes.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from internal users, co-workers, and external users.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
