Job summary

The University of Missouri - Columbia is seeking a Business Support Specialist I to join the Division of Finance & Business Services. The role provides support across multiple campuses and the UM System, with cross-training to ensure continuity of operations.

The position handles OneCard reconciliation, reimbursements, POs, receipts, ARBI, and JE processing. A strong customer service mindset and experience with PeopleSoft are preferred; hybrid schedule offered.

• Strong customer service skills, self-motivation, and excellent organizational and communication skills, including tact, courtesy, diplomacy, and cooperative attitude.
• Organized, responsible, and ethical individuals who can manage multiple tasks and competing priorities with accuracy and customer focus.
• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Programs.
• Commitment to working with a wide variety of faculty, staff, and students.
• Previous experience working with PeopleSoft or similar enterprise financial system.
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions and multi-task accordingly.
