Job summary

At Your Service LLC is seeking a Part-Time Arena Attendant for the United Center in Chicago. Shifts include evenings, weekends and some daytime hours, with the ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced arena environment.

You will greet guests, operate elevators safely, and deliver friendly, professional service throughout events. The role is up to 20 hours per week, paid at $16.85 per hour, and requires punctuality, reliability, and compliance with grooming and attendance

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and some daytime hours.
• Able to stand for 3 quarters of the shift and walk stairs.

General Responsibilities:

Provide friendly and professional service to guests while operating the elevator or in other positions.

Provide each guest with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment to view events at the United Center.

• Candidates must be comfortable being active for an entire event (5+ hours).

Specific Duties:

• Maintain a fun, friendly, and safe environment in assigned sections
• Greet guests as they enter the arena with a smile
• Deliver outstanding customer service under a variety of circumstances
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
• Operate elevators in a safe manner
• Document incidents and notify supervisors regarding issues that may require further attention
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Team Member must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 Years of Customer Service Experience
• Must be available to work evening and weekend hours.Report time typically begin at 4:30pm on weekdays and can be any time on Saturdays and Sundays
• Must have availability to work holidays
• Must be punctual and able to comply with attendance standards
• Must be willing and able to comply with all grooming and uniform standards. Extreme hair color, extreme facial piercings, and facial or offensive tattoos are not allowed

Additional Information:

• Pay Rate: $16.85hr
• Average hours will not exceed 20 hours per week
• A candidate will be expected to hold a position for an entire event, including an elevator.
• Everyone must be comfortable being in a tight space for an extended period.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
• The position requires ability to stand for 3 quarters (¾) of the shift. The use of hands, stooping, kneeling, or reaching with hands may be required during a shift.
• The individual is required to walk up and down several stairs throughout the duration of the event.
• The individual may be required to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places or work in outdoor weather conditions.
