Parkland Health is seeking a Unit Technician for the Central Staffing Office in the main hospital—on-site, part-time, no benefits. The role supports patient care staff by handling phlebotomy tasks, coordinating unit needs, and maintaining patient records.

You will work under RN direction to perform hygiene care, injections, vitals, and assist with patient transport as required. Candidates should have a nurse aide, CNA, medical assistant, or patient care technician background, with current CPR

Qualifications

• Must have completed or hold one of the following: nurse aide, CNA, medical assistant, patient care technician courses or certificates.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited school of professional nursing with documentation of basic fundamentals of nursing.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient care and clerical needs as a primary unit contact.
• Perform phlebotomy tasks and lab draws for the unit as needed.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients; maintain patient records and unit logs.
