Qualifications

• Candidate must have completed or be enrolled in an approved nurse aide, MA, or patient care program.
• One year of acute care hospital experience is preferred.
• Current Heartsaver CPR within 90 days of hire or placement.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and laboratory specimen handling as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy tasks and assist with lab draws.
• Coordinate patient care and clerical needs as primary unit contact.
• Provide basic hygiene care, injections, vital signs, and ROM exercises under RN supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient records and generate routine reports.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients and manage patient valuables and room logistics.
• Maintain infection control and translate services when applicable.
• Order, deliver, and stock medical and lab supplies.
