Qualifications

• Current certification in BLS within 7 days of hire.

• Basic computer skills or ability to learn and use hospital computer.
• Effective communication with unit staff and other departments.
• Must complete general hospital and unit-specific orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform patient assessments in a timely fashion.
• Obtain and document vital signs; assist with oxygen saturation, BP, and cardiac monitoring.
