We are seeking a Unit Support Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role involves routine housekeeping duties, responding to emergency spill cleanup calls, and maintaining infection control standards. Responsibilities include daily cleaning of units, maintaining patient equipment, transporting patients safely, and delivering supplies and specimens as needed. Our goal is to meet or exceed customer expectations as outlined in the Service Quality Agreement (SQA).

All successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing to ensure workplace safety and health compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties in assigned areas following infection control protocols.
• Take ownership of responsibilities within your designated zone and other areas as assigned.
• Maintain accountability for customer service, professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication.
• If assigned, inspect, test, and clean patient equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year experience in environmental services within healthcare, hospitality, or contract cleaning.
• Preferred experience in hospital environmental services and housekeeping.
• High school diploma or equivalent; may substitute for one year of experience.
