Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure units are well supplied and equipped. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, receive, inspect, invoice, store, and deliver supplies, and maintain automated systems.

You will secure and control weapons and ammunition and schedule maintenance on weapons, while operating unit-level computers. Training includes 10 weeks Basic Training and eight weeks AIT.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED.
• Must be between ages 17 and 35.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details).

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
