Job summary

Army National Guard in Madison, SD seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure unit readiness by managing receiving, storage and distribution of equipment. You will oversee shipping, inventory, documentation, and the maintenance of weapons and ammunition in secure areas.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting and typing.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Willingness to perform physical work.
• Interest in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure and control weapons and ammunition.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
