Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to manage unit supply, storage, and distribution of equipment. You will oversee shipping, receiving, inspecting, invoicing, and maintaining automated systems while ensuring weapons and ammunition are secured and maintained.

The role includes hands-on duties, documentation, and training pathways that lead to civilian stock clerk or warehouse positions after service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure and control weapons and ammunition.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
