Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure soldiers are supplied and equipped for missions. You will oversee shipping, storage and supply, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing and delivering supplies.

Key duties include handling small arms, maintaining weapons, and operating unit computers. You will train through Basic Training and AIT while earning a paycheck and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a HS diploma or GED.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.
• Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure weapons and ammo.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
