Job summary

Corewell Health Cedar Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Grand Rapids is seeking a receptionist/secretarial teammate for a full-time day shift. You will greet guests, handle confidential records, schedule tests and procedures, and process orders while maintaining unit standards.

A high school diploma is required, with preferred two years of related experience. The role offers a 40-hour work week with a Monday–Friday schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the unit

We are able to provide care for long term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. Each designated unit focuses on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries and cancer. Cedar Street offers various programs for residents to participate in including music therapy, expressive arts and a garden room.

About Rehab and Nursing Center Cedar

Cedar The Rehabilitation & Nursing Center - Cedar was designed with the word "home" in mind. The home is more spacious than the previous 52-year-old Fuller Street facility and boasts many new amenities, including four spacious interior courtyards; a new dining room; on-site dialysis den; art room, private and semiprivate rooms with their own window, restroom and shower; modern furnishings; and new technology, to make these community members feel at home.
