Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a CNA to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will follow patient care plans, assist with daily activities, and document care while maintaining a safe environment.

The role requires a Michigan CNA training and licensing, a high school diploma, and BLS certification within 90 days. Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM may apply with 36 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course is required.
• CNA certification (CRT-Nursing Assistant) required upon hire with timelines for RNCs.
• Driver's license required for transporting patients.
• BLS certification required within 90 days (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, in line with unit policies.
• Direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
• Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.
• Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment and communicates any equipment malfunctions.
• Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.
• Participates in select unit quality monitoring activities under the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.

Job Summary

As a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. • LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Hospice, Caring Circle Hospice except Hanson Hospice Center, Greenville/Reed City CNAs who transport patients off-site Upon Hire required


• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association excluding Hospice (required for Hanson Hospice Center) 90 Days required Or


• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross excluding Hospice (required for Hanson Hospice Center) 90 Days required
