HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Unit Secretary PRN to join our team in Houston. You will create a welcoming, organized space where patients and families feel valued and informed, using clear, compassionate communication to keep the unit running smoothly.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient and family updates, accurate record-keeping, and liaison among care team members. This role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and supportive daily operations within a high-quality

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of experience required.

• Maintaining patient records accurately, entering physician orders, and protecting patient information.
• Handling all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly to keep the unit connected.
• Keeping the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfort.
• Taking initiative to solve challenges, support daily operations, and foster a culture of respect and teamwork.
