Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Labor and Delivery South unit in Springfield, MO. This role handles clerical duties, charts, reports, and organizing supplies while supporting care teams during night shifts.

High school diploma required with prior Nurse Assistant experience preferred. Strong communication, time management, and basic computer skills are essential to manage multitasking in a busy obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous Nurse Assistant experience preferred.
• Able to communicate and work with a wide variety of staff, patients and families.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Has a basic working knowledge of all unit functions and is responsible for performing clerical duties and maintaining and organizing all necessary equipment and supplies.
• Duties may include scheduling appointments, charging, compiling and copying medical charts, reports, and other duties as assigned.
