Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO, seeks a Surgical Services Assistant to support the perioperative team in the Operating Room South. You will perform technical and supportive duties under RN supervision and help maintain workflow during day shift hours.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills. Prior hospital experience is a plus, and benefits include medical, vision, dental, and retirement match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Previous hospital and/or medical experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during the patient’s perioperative phase under RN supervision.
• Perform a variety of technical and supportive duties for the surgical team.
