Job description

Job Summary: The primary responsibility is to perform clerical duties on a nursing or clinical unit while maintaining confidentiality. The role involves fostering a cooperative atmosphere by being professional, pleasant, and helpful to staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities include observing hospital policies, attending orientation and ongoing training, and performing duties such as assembling charts, making requisitions, reporting repairs, answering phones, preparing charts for admissions, maintaining forms, communicating with departments, restocking supplies, and keeping the work area organized. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule: 24/48, Part-Time, Days, Every Other Weekend.

Note: This position is a replacement for a striking employee and classified as a permanent employee under the National Labor Relations Act, with employment conditions subject to Butler Hospital standards.
