Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• One year of inpatient unit secretary experience preferred.
• Active enrollment in a healthcare program and familiarity with medical terminology are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate medical records using the labeling system.
• Accurately transcribe medical orders and distribute to relevant disciplines.
• Coordinate unit operations to optimize safe patient care delivery.
• Schedule tests, appointments, and transportation timely.
• Serve as a friendly resource for patients, families, staff, and visitors.
• Act as a liaison for inquiries and direct them to the right person.
• Support nursing staff to enhance unit efficiency and patient experience.
