Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD seeks a unit secretary/receptionist to handle front-desk duties on the assigned unit and float as needed. You will act as a communication source and assist nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.

Essentially, this role supports the Nursing Department with clerical tasks, helps with patient flow, and ensures smooth unit operations in alignment with the hospital's mission and SPIRIT values.

Qualifications

• Greet and assist patients and visitors with courtesy.
• Perform light secretarial tasks and data entry.
• Support Nursing Department communication and documentation.
• Less than one year of experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide receptionist and secretarial support on the assigned unit; float as needed.
• Serve as a communication hub for the unit and hospital staff.
• Assist with scheduling, rooming patients, and basic clerical duties.

Summary Responsible for the receptionist and secretarial duties on the assigned unit or unit which you are working while floating. Functions as a communication source and secretarial resource. The Unit Secretary ensures the quality of services rendered by the Nursing Department as it responds to the needs of its customers in accordance with the hospital's mission statement and SPIRIT values. Multi-Specialty positions are trained to work in multiple units and assigned throughout hospital or float based on unit needs.

• Less than one year

Pay Range: $17.33 to $26.00 Based On Experience
