HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking an attentive Unit Secretary to support daily hospital operations on site. You will greet patients and visitors, maintain accurate records, and act as a clear conduit between the care team and all communications to ensure smooth unit flow.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, meticulous attention to patient information, and a cooperative, respectful workplace culture focusing on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and guide patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
• Maintain patient records accurately, enter physician orders, protect patient information.
• Handle all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly.
• Keep the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfort.

• Maintaining patient records accurately, entering physician orders, and protecting patient information

• Handling all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly to keep the unit connected

• Keeping the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfort

• Taking initiative to solve challenges, support daily operations, and foster a culture of respect and teamwork
