A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Unit Secretary for its Surgery department at Trenton Hospital. This role involves managing non-clinical patient care tasks, including communication and clerical duties. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and relevant experience, contributing to a dynamic healthcare environment.
The shift would either be 6a to 3p Monday through Sunday or 3p to 7:30p Monday through Friday, depending on needs. Weekends would be variable, usually one every 4 weeks. This is not a part-time position and does not include benefits.

This is the main Operating Room/POHA/PACU area, featuring 6 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms.

It includes a Level II trauma center with specialties in heart, vascular, pulmonary, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and women’s health.
Scope of Work
The Unit Secretary manages non-clinical patient care aspects, including communication, clerical tasks, supply management, and equipment repair coordination. Acts as a liaison within and outside the department.
