York County Government is seeking a Unit Secretary to provide clerical support to Probation Officers in the Department of Probation Services. The role includes tracking parole plans, detainers, and presentence reports, and entering data into the case management system.
You will handle documentation for Judges, process paperwork to York County Prison and Clerk of Courts, and participate in monthly meetings and trainings. Nontraditional hours may be required to accommodate client schedules.
A Unit Secretary is responsible for performing clerical duties in support of Probation Officers in the Department of Probation Services. A unit secretary is responsible to track and process parole plans, detainers, violation reports, Gagnon I and Gagnon II and presentence investigation reports. This involves entering data into the Probation Department case management program; sending, monitoring and retrieving documents to the assigned Judge; and processing to the York County Prison and Clerk of Courts. Other duties may be assigned by the Support Staff Supervisor, Office Manager and/or Probation Officer.
