Centre County Government is seeking a 911 Dispatcher Trainee – Public Safety Telecommunicator to join the team in Centre County, PA. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with standard hours and a 37.5-hour workweek.
The starting wage is $22.76/hour, with responsibilities including interviewing offenders, preparing court-related reports, counseling probationers, and conducting monitoring and drug testing as part of probation/parole supervision.

Shift Available: Full – Time (Non-Exempt)
Office Hours: 8 am to 4 pm Monday - Friday
Budgeted Hours: 7.5 hours per day / 37.5 hours per week
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, social or behavioral science, or related field. Computer skills necessary. Must successfully pass firearms and in-service training. One to two (1-2) years' work experience in law enforcement, preferably in probation/parole or judicial area. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a willingness to travel as needed.
