Job summary

New England Homes for the Deaf, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN) to lead resident care on a designated unit.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with policies, and report incidents promptly to the Director of Nursing Services. The role requires at least two years of supervisory experience in long-term or sub-acute care and a current Massachusetts license (RN or LPN).

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensed in Massachusetts.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in long-term or sub-acute care.
• Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations as they pertain to long-term and sub-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Manages and assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for resident care on assigned unit.
• One weekend a month on-call.
• Manage the unit in accordance with facility policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations to promote the highest practicable care and services.
• Ensure complete and prompt reporting of incidents with follow-up to the Director of Nursing Services.
