Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a qualified Unit Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL. You will manage staffing needs, supervise nursing staff, and provide direct resident care in accordance with established plans on the unit.

Responsibilities include staff development, data collection of residents’ medical status, and development of individualized treatment plans. Ideal candidates have 3+ years nursing experience and 1+ year in nursing administration.

Qualifications

Active RN or LPN license in Florida.
At least 3 years nursing experience, preferably in a setting serving the same population.
Minimum 1 year of nursing administration experience.
Compassionate, dedicated, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

Manage the staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff delivering direct resident care.
Assist in staff development and training.
Provide direct resident care according to established plans.
Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
Complete data collection of each resident’s medical status and update records.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements.
Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Ensure compliance with resident rights policies.
Complete Preceptor Training.
Contribute to innovative, responsible healthcare practices.
