Qualifications

• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; Master’s Degree highly desirable.
• One year leadership/charge/supervisory experience in SNF/LTC required; three years preferred.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Computer literacy including Word; electronic documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and clinical expertise for designated unit to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure patient care meets quality standards.
• Make daily rounds to assess resident care, safety, and environment.
• Participate in development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Lead quality assurance activities and assist with care conferences.
