Job summary

Majestic Care of Goshen is seeking a Unit Manager (RN/LPN) to lead a nursing unit in a long‑term care community. You will oversee staffing and operations to provide high-quality resident care in a supportive team environment.

The role emphasizes staffing, physician collaboration, ongoing education, and adherence to care standards. A $10,000 sign‑on bonus is offered along with benefits to sustain compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN or LPN license in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• CPR certification or CPR license; must be kept current throughout employment, within first 30 days if needed.
• Three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Hire, discipline, and evaluate care team members.
• Plan and facilitate meetings to address resident care issues for the unit.
• Manage staffing and census to meet resident needs and budget controls.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate programs for recruitment, retention, and education of staff.
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure timely and appropriate interventions.
• Monitor clinical operations and ensure high-quality resident care.
• Obtain medications, supplies, and records to provide safe care.
• Assist in orientation and supervision of new personnel.
