Job summary

Clarion Wellness and Rehab Center is seeking a Unit Manager RN/LPN to lead nursing services and coordinate resident care. The role requires an active RN or LVN license and at least 2 years in long-term care, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stay composed under pressure.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice in accordance with nursing policies and procedures.
• Assesses each resident’s needs and assists in developing treatment plans for nursing care.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and treatment for residents.
• Ensures nursing staff provide treatments, medications, diets, rehabilitative nursing care, ADLs, protective services and training per care plan.
• Trains nursing staff in proper provision of direct resident care.
• Leads others through actions that reflect company culture.

Job Title: Unit Manager RN/LPN

Schedule: Office position with on call rotation

Duties:

• Develops and maintains nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice in accordance with the nursing policies and procedures.
• Assesses each resident’s needs and assists in the development of a treatment plan for nursing care to meet the daily treatment and care needs of the resident.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary team and works cooperatively with team members to ensure the coordination of care and treatment for the residents are met.
• Ensures that nursing personnel provide treatments, medications, diets, rehabilitative nursing care, activities of daily living, protective service, and training in self-care as stated in the care plan to ascertain that optimum comfort and care is provided.
• Train nursing staff in the proper provision of direct care to residents.
• Lead others through actions consistent with and serve our culture.
