Job summary

National Health Care Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing staff in a dual-unit setting (Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing) at our Yarmouth facility.

You will lead a team, coordinate care plans, and ensure high-quality resident care while promoting a positive work environment. The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license, has leadership experience in long-term care, and demonstrates strong clinical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Valid state RN nursing license.
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience in supervisory or leadership role in long-term care setting preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care with focus on aged and chronically ill residents.
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care.
  • Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.

What You'll Do:

Unit Manager covers two units, Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing unit

  • Over sees 2 Charge nurses

* $4K sign on bonus *

As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit. Your role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit

  • Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation

Rate of Pay

USD $40.00 - USD $46.00 /Hr.

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Unit Manager include:

  • Valid state RN nursing license
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
