Job summary

Brewer Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Brewer, ME is seeking a Unit Manager to oversee nursing staff within a dedicated unit and ensure quality resident care.

You will develop and implement individualized care plans, supervise daily operations, and mentor nursing staff while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support resident well-being in a fast-paced long-term care environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid state nursing license.
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit. Your role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Rate of Pay

USD $42.32 - USD $44.56 /Hr.

Qualifications Valid state nursing license Advanced degree or certification preferred Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
