Greenville Post Acute (GPA) seeks a compassionate Unit Manager (RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversight for a resident care unit in Greenville, SC. This full-time day-shift role coordinates resident care, supervises nursing staff, and ensures regulatory compliance in partnership with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted SC RN license.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of resident care planning, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing and supporting nursing staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned resident care unit.
• Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including CNAs and LPNs.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely follow-up on changes in status.
• Conduct rounds and address resident, family, and staff concerns.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, families, and other departments to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Assist nursing leadership with staffing, training, and employee development initiatives.

Position Summary

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Current, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
• Strong understanding of resident care planning, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing and supporting nursing staff preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current CPR certification
• Must maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements
• Must remain in good standing with the South Carolina Board of Nursing

• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
