Job summary

Cloverdale Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Scottsboro, AL seeks a Unit Manager RN to lead our skilled nursing team and drive high-quality patient care. This role focuses on supervision, care planning, and ensuring efficient operations at our Alabama facility.

You will mentor RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs, implement evidence-based practices, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Unit Manager or similar leadership role.
• Current RN license with the State of Alabama and BLS certification.
• Ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs.
• Develop individualized patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and supplies to optimize patient flow.
• Identify training needs and deliver coaching and education.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (Medicare/Medicaid).

Responsibilities

• Lead by Example: Supervise and mentor a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.

• Patient-Centered Care: Ensure that all patients receive individualized care plans, tailored to their unique needs and goals, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Clinical Excellence: Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices, protocols, and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.

• Operational Efficiency: Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, and supplies, to optimize patient flow and minimize downtime.

• Staff Development: Identify training needs and design targeted coaching and education programs to enhance team performance and proficiency.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid.
