Job summary

Diversicare is seeking an RN Unit Manager in Birmingham, AL to lead the care team in our long-term care center. You will oversee patient/resident care, coordinate services, and support staff to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, evaluating performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Strong leadership and Alabama RN license required to advance our Clinical Career Ladder.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama (or eligibility) and experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to plan, evaluate and coordinate nursing services.
• Experience in supervising nursing staff and coordinating resident care.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 1. Current license by the State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse with experience in the long-term care industry preferred
• 2. Ability to plan, evaluate and coordinate services.
• 3. Experience in triaging tasks, supervision of nursing team members and coordination of services to provide the optimum resident and patient experience.
