Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager/Director - RN within an assigned unit, you will support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/resident, family, and employee satisfaction.

1. Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and management of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned unit.
2. Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, and policies, and complies with standards of practice, state, and federal regulations.
3. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
4. Manage human resources in the unit, including minimizing overtime and agency staffing, recruiting, orienting staff, assessing performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
2. Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
