The Unit Manager collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents. Additionally, the position requires managing resources efficiently, including staffing, budgeting, and supplies, to optimize unit performance. Ultimately, the Unit Manager plays a critical role in fostering a supportive and safe environment that promotes positive health outcomes and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare management software.
• Advanced certifications such as Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or similar.
