Responsibilities

• Deliver new admission charts to the Unit and initiate forms for admission.
• Fax physician's orders daily and deliver copies to the appropriate department.
• Update resident charts with vital signs and weights from daily assignment sheets.
• Maintain an orderly and neat nurse's station.
• Screen all incoming calls for nursing and forward messages.
• Schedule physician appointments for residents and relay information to nursing staff.
• Input daily labs and resident information updates.
• Notify departments of changes and maintain bathing schedule on the bath record.
• Greet visitors and provide information per policies.
• Ensure residents and families receive compassionate care.
