Mission Pines Nursing & Rehab Center in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced LPN Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of our skilled nursing unit. You will lead a dedicated team of LPNs, CNAs, and support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care and maintain a safe environment for residents.

The ideal candidate will have Nevada LPN licensure, 2+ years in long-term care, and demonstrated leadership with strong communication and emotional intelligence to collaborate

Qualifications

• Licensure: Must be currently licensed LPN in Nevada.
• Clinical Experience: 2+ years in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Leadership Experience: Previous leadership/supervisory role is desirable.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication.
• Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrated empathy and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily unit operations to ensure regulatory compliance and policies.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs, CNAs, and support staff to elevate care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain effective communication with families, residents, and other healthcare professionals.

You will effectively manage a team of LPNs, CNAs, and other supportive staff to deliver high-quality care, promote positive resident outcomes, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Manage and direct the daily activities of the unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Staff Management: Supervise and develop a team of LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Quality Care: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with families, residents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care.

Requirments:

• Licensure: Must be a currently licensed LPN in the state of Nevada.
• Clinical Experience: Preferably 2+ years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
