Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in Mills River, NC, is seeking an experienced RN or LPN to become Unit Manager and lead a dedicated nursing team. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of supervisory experience in long-term care, be compassionate, and able to manage multiple priorities while working flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Supports Medicare/Medicaid regulatory compliance; monitor and report issues.
• Keeps residents and loved ones informed and involved in care.
• Ensures quality nursing care; supervise staff, provide feedback, and support annual reviews.
• Ensures staff compliance with current regulations via chart reviews and rounding.
• Updates standards of practice, QA, and infection control knowledge with current regulatory trends.
• Coordinates handoffs and discharge planning between providers, nursing, records and social services; attend care planning meetings as needed.
• Participates in 24/7 on-call/weekend rotation to ensure RN coverage and assist in resident care as needed.
