Job summary

ESFM is seeking a UNIT DIRECTOR II to oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and security of assigned buildings. You will coordinate janitorial activities, supervise supervisors and hourly staff, and ensure customer satisfaction through high quality standards.

You will train and evaluate staff, manage supplies and inventory, and communicate directives to ensure timely, safe operations while staying within budget.

Qualifications

• A college degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years as supervisor in housekeeping or service with high client contact.
• Strong work ethic, drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate staff.
• Understanding of budgeting processes and profit and loss awareness.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with heavy cleaning equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all janitorial work activities and supervise supervisors and staff.
• Inspect work, assign duties, and address complaints with corrective actions.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and supplies are stocked.
• Communicate directives between managers, occupants, and staff effectively.
• Train, discipline, and manage performance of employees.
• Secure buildings after hours and monitor project completion within budget.
