Job summary

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience as Medical Assistant or STNA and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; preferred Medical Assistant, Unit Coordinator Associate or STNA with experience.
• Previous hospital and clerical experience with excellent computer skills preferred; 1 year in a clinical area required.
• Medical Terminology course preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of employment if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• The Unit Coordinator provides clinical and clerical support to patients and the unit.
• They assist the RN, director/manager, and technologists and maintain a responsive communication system.
• They may transcribe Physician Orders and assist in planning and implementing care measures.
