Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience as Medical Assistant or STNA and strong computer skills.

The Unit Coordinator is an unlicensed worker who at the discretion of the Nurse Director / Manager may be cross-trained as a PCT. (Please refer to the PCT job description when performing those duties.) The Unit Coordinator provides clinical and clerical support to the patient and our unit, assisting the RN, director/manager, and/or technologists. They assist in the maintenance of a responsive communication system through positive interactions with our patients, guests, ancillary departments, Physicians and their peers. The Unit Coordinator may be responsible for the accurate transcription of Physician Orders and assisting the units in the planning, organization and implementation of measures to maintain a quality therapeutic environment for our units and ultimately, our patients.
