  • This position requires English language proficiency at an intermediate or higher level.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate, organized medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Coordinating and scheduling medical appointments, labs, dental, audiology, diagnostic services, and follow-up care.
  • Supporting documentation for admissions, discharges, transfers, and care plans.
  • Ordering, organizing, and monitoring nursing unit supplies.
  • Maintaining accurate EMR information, resident census, and unit records.
  • Assisting with pharmacy reviews, prior authorizations, insurance updates, and supporting documentation.
  • Answering calls and providing professional, welcoming assistance to staff, families, visitors, and healthcare partners.
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), and nursing leadership.
  • Helping ensure important information gets to the right person, at the right time.

  • Medical Records: Help maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date resident information.
  • Appointments & Follow-Up: Coordinate appointments, transportation details, and necessary documentation.

What You’ll Do — Keep the Unit Organized, Connected & Ready

As a Unit Clerk at Pediatric Specialty Care, you’ll be an essential administrative partner to our nursing and clinical teams. Your organization, communication, and attention to detail will help keep the unit running smoothly every day.

You’ll Be Responsible For
