Qualifications

• Must possess an active Florida CNA license.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse in daily recording and charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with standards.
• Record medical and administrative information following charting policies.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and submit to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Answer telephone and page calls; deliver messages to residents as needed.
• Record resident identification data on medical records, wristbands, and ID cards.
• Notify responsible party of changes in resident condition as instructed.
• Assist in admitting, transferring, and discharging residents and arranging transportation.
• Help complete medical and administrative records upon admission/transfer/discharge.
• Contribute to innovative strategies to improve systems and processes.
