DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The Nursing Resource Pooloffers you increased flexibility in your scheduling, while allowing you to float only at Trinity Health Ann Arbor.
We support our employees with a focused orientation and training about our equipment, processes and procedures. This makes our float pools a reliable resource for our units, which means more manageable patient ratios. For all these reasons and more, Float Pool PCT's are treated as highly valued team members here at Trinity Health Ann Arbor.
SUMMARY:
Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager provides support for patients, visitors and colleagues on assigned nursing units. Facilitates efficient patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Supports patient experience and culture of safety goals through equipment maintenance, unit supplies, unit appearance and overall environment of care. Provides reception type services to patients, families, visitors and other unit guests.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Three to six months previous related experience
Preferred customer service, retail, clerical experience
