Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is seeking a compassionate Unit Clerk/Nursing Assistant to support patient care in the new tower. The role combines clerical duties with direct patient care, under licensed staff supervision, to enhance patient flow and comfort.

Responsibilities include managing unit communications, patient vitals, ADLs, and daily care activities. Requires HS diploma, BLS, and strong interpersonal skills; experience in customer service is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organized, accurate, detail-oriented.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
• At least (1) year of direct customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unit Clerk duties: manage clerical tasks, assist nurses, and maintain an organized nurse's station.
• Nursing Assistant duties: perform ADLs, vitals, feeding, bathing, dressing, mouth care under licensed staff.
